Trinidad contributed alot to Canada. The importinig and exporting trade ship started when both countries signed a contract to help consulates. Trinidad and Canada signed a reciprocal treaty.From that contract Canada and Trinida imported and exported to each other. In current years two-sided merchandise trade amid Canada and Trinidad & Tobago has increased to over $615 million. Trinidad and Tobago’s imports of Canadian merchandises: mineral ores, paper products, machinery and electrical equipment, vegetables etc. have reached $273.6 million.Trinidad contributed to the shops and donated money to companies: Toys “R” us and even minor places: alters etc. Canada is guided with the governance of Trinidad which helps with Anti-corruption and Multiculturalism. Trinidad has one of the strongest defense forces in the Caribbean. They have a long history of training with Canada's forces and has been a member of Canada's training  assistance program since 1970. In the last decade alone, Canada spent more than CAD $1 million to send over 60 officers from Trinidad and Tobago on training.Canada showed support in donations to Trinidad's security systems.
